We were invited on radio to speak about Salt, Less Noise More Love and music in general. Janice and Karl visited the studios of 102.3 (on the local FM). We will link to the on-demand link as soon as it is made available. In the meantime, here’s Janice in action. She did a great job at playing guitars and singing live in studio. Karl took care of humble percussions.

This has been a rather quiet space and it deserves much better. So here is a catch up of what we were all up to in the past days!

Come & See 2012 – We have once again been part of this exciting three day event. For the band it means long playing time (starting as early as 8AM with a sound check on Saturday) and some specific songs which we only get to play in such occasions. The weekend is also an opportunity to spend quality time with each other…which is a blessing in itself. NOTE: As you will see, Karl did get out of his role as bassist for some time during the sessions. They were short of staff on stage

This evening’s party - We will also be playing a new song called ‘More’. The song was written by Joe as Youth Fellowship turns 25! Youth Fellowship is dear to us, also because it brought us all together in the first place. If you intend to join, event details may be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/319646651415786/. You will also get to see how the band started and how younger we were in 2006!

More from us - The coming weeks should be very busy for us. We will be playing at ‘Losing my Religion, Finding my Faith’ (starting on the 26th, more info: https://www.facebook.com/events/372700229409398/). We will also playing some acoustic tunes on radio (more about this soon).

Salt @ YWAV

We hope that so far you’ve been having a good year. On Friday, we’ll be taking part in this new initiative called YWAV, a short, informal meeting aimed at young people up to 30 years old.

It starts at 9 p.m. and will be held at Nove winebar, in St Julian’s, and we’ll be playing during part of the meeting. The meeting’s theme (very much in keeping with this time of year) is Finding What’s “Happy” in Happy New Year.

Joe had a baby! Actually his wife, Svetlana, did. He’s called Mattia and he joins Julia, Elisa, Beppe and Thomas in the ever-increasing Salt family, God bless them.

Fosos gig called off

Due to unfortunate circumstances (rain and outdoor events don’t mix very well together) tonight’s gig at the Floriana Granaries has been called off. Thanks to all who were coming and to the organisers for inviting us. Meanwhile, we should be uploading some pictures of the previous gig once we have them.
