Monday might be here without an invitation but you asked for a fashion fiesta and here it is. Only the best of Bollywood, only for the fashion lovers who wait a week to see who turned up and how. And we will not disappoint. So, assemble
Avengers connoisseurs of fine taste cause all we got coming up are looks, looks and more looks! Honestly, it wasn’t easy to compile and shortlist the ones who were just unputdownable but we have made it happen for you and you don’t even have to thank us. So, shall we?
From Kareena Kapoor Khan to Deepika Padukone and from Anushka Sharma to Shraddha Kapoor, these leading ladies have managed to grab our attention and how! Even Rakul Preet pulled up a ‘preet’y good ensemble and we hope you’re taking notes.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena Kapoor Khan recently dolled up for the shoot of Dance India Dance and WOW. The actress looked like she descended on earth in a glittery, crushed pink Manish Malhotra saree and matching, metallic blouse with a plunging neckline. Yes, love happened at the first sight but there’s more than what meets the eye. And by that, we mean the beach curls, bronzer, and blings from the house of Anmol Jewellers. Again, WOW!
While we are still at that, even Anushka Sharma recently impressed us with her 9 yards of elegance when she turned up for the NBT Awards night in a floral, sheer Sabyasachi saree. The simplicity of all worked wonders. That and her messy bun, her bindi and her bold chandelier earrings. Picture perfect, if you may say so.
Deepika Padukone and her love for all-black! The actress who wears colours like nobody does also does all-black ensembles like nobody’s business. Recently she was papped wearing an Alexander McQueen and Maison Ala a co-ord set and it was a statement. Like that wasn’t enough she accessorised it with neckpieces and ring by Misho Designs and that’s another bookmark!
Shraddha Kapoor recently stepped out wearing a black sheer number by Dolce & Gabbana for the wrap-up party for Street Dancer 3D and it was the right mix of class and quirk. The corset-style strap did its thing and suddenly the attire was the hottest thing after Shraddha. In this case, we don’t mind the black sandals for the sake of classics.
Now, that’s how you do monotones! Not that the H&M orange dress needed a backing but the strappy pink sandals by Zara did their job and Rakul Preet looked like a million bucks. Not to mention, the beach curls and the minimal makeup that didn’t dilute the prism.
